Ski Area Kunčice is among the areas with the longest history in the Králický Sněžník. Every year it welcomes thousands of skiers, cross-country skiers, freestylers, and snowboarders. You will love skiing without queues. Come and see.
About Ski Area Kunčice
Ski Area Kunčice is located at the foot of the Králický Sněžník massif, 3 km past the village of Staré Město pod Sněžníkem, at an altitude of 600 to 800 meters.
Operating hours of the chairlift and lifts: 8:30 - 16:00.
Modern ski area at the foot of Králický Sněžník
You can enjoy up to 4.5 km of perfectly groomed slopes. Individual runs range from 600 to 1,000 meters. Wide, uncrowded blue and red runs dominate, suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers.
A four-seat chairlift, two lifts, and a contactless check-in system ensure fast and comfortable skiing without long waits. For children, we have a kids’ lift, a kids’ corner, and a playground with a rope pyramid, swings, slides, and a trampoline.
You can park free of charge in a paved parking lot right at the base stations of the chairlift and lifts.
Cross-country skiers won’t miss out either, as there is a ski track at the top of the Triangl lift that takes you to Králický Sněžník, Paprsek, or even to Staré Město.
We aim to satisfy customers who prefer peace, comfort, and space over the hustle and bustle of high-capacity resorts, as well as families with children.

We can handle up to 4,200 skiers per hour. No waiting, just skiing. You’ll make the most of your skipass!
Ski school for the little ones too
Snowboarders and the youngest skiers can learn in our ski school on a special kids’ lift.
Ski rental
Don’t have your own skis? No problem — we will lend you skis, cross-country skis, or a snowboard, adjusted exactly for you.
Powerful snowmaking
We start the season among the first. Thanks to a powerful snowmaking system, our ski season lasts over 3 months.
Service Center
A modern service center for skiers and caravaners — refreshments, ski storage, toilets, showers, warm seating, kids’ corner, sunny terrace, changing rooms, and facilities for caravaners.
Accommodation in Kunčice
We will arrange accommodation just a few steps from the slopes. We cooperate with guesthouses and hotels in Kunčice.
Restaurants and refreshments
Hospoda U Rumařů, the buffet at Hájovna or Skibar Kulaťák offer a sunny terrace, plenty of seating, and most importantly, something delicious to keep your energy up!
Our ski area has two starting points, Triangl and Hájovna. At each of them, you can use free paved, maintained parking lots. In the Hájovna area, we have newly opened a service center. During the ski season, you can rent skis, have refreshments at the adjacent buffet with a wide range of meals and drinks, rest in warmth or on a sunny terrace, plan ski or snowboard lessons.
